Product Description

The CAST IRON RODS MACHINABLE FONWELD E114 4.0MM are nickel-based welding electrodes specially designed for the repair and welding of grey cast iron. FONWELD E114 features a pure nickel wire core and a special coating that produces a readily machinable weld deposit. It is suitable for both hot and cold welding of grey cast iron, including joining grey cast iron to steel.

The 4.0mm diameter is suited to heavier cast-iron repair and fabrication applications. The manufacturer specifies a 120–130 amp welding current range for the 4.0mm × 450mm electrode, with DCEN or AC current compatibility.
