Product Description

The CAST IRON RODS MACHINABLE FONWELD E114 2.5MM are nickel-based welding electrodes specifically designed for the repair and welding of grey cast iron. FONWELD E114 features a pure nickel wire core and a special coating that produces a weld deposit that is readily machinable. It is suitable for both hot and cold welding of cast iron and can also be used for joining grey cast iron to steel.

The 2.5mm diameter is suitable for controlled repair and fabrication work, with a recommended welding current of 70–90 amps. The electrode can be operated using DCEN or AC current.
